Firmwareupdate BD 1600 from BEv1.02 to 2.05

by paolo96 / December 26, 2009 5:50 PM PST

Hello !

I want to do a firmware-update for my BD P-1600 to 2.05. Via USB or CD (iso-file) I receive the error message "Error was detected in update data". All the USB drives I tested were formattet in the right way, there was also no problem with burning the iso file.
The system-update via network said that there are no updates available.

Is there a further firmware update (e.g. 1.03 or 1.04) I have to install before using the 2.05 ? I need the ones with the ending .XEF .

If yes, please let me know where to find these "older" firmware files because they are not listed on the official Samsung support site anymore.

Here are the infos of my current BD P 1600:
Firmware: BEv1.02_090528A_XEF
loader: ldv1.03_090409
region: b/2 (BD/DVD)

I would be nice if you could help me.

Ciao,

Paolo

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
