Features come and go with firmware versions. This will upset most consumers.
As to channels, it's the same old issues of antennas and more if you are not on cable. NOTHING NEW HERE but some never had antennas that dad or people like me that we installed ourselves.
For a channel guide I think the fios, cable, etc boxes will be the real answer.

I bought a Vizio SV420XVT refurbed from a authorized dealer with a 90 day warranty. It does not get the FULL channel guide when the guide button is pressed twice. Just shows info then clears on the second press. Which is not what it is suppose to do. Which is show the full program guide. I called their tech and they claim that the feature was removed in a firmware update. So no "Program Guide". Is this possible or were they trying to get out of sending someone to work on it.
It also has a problem with some lower QAM channels that work on another Vizio tv in the house. They work sometimes, but sometimes they don't, blocky or nothing at all. So they are sending a tech to look at it. Even if, which they say is probably a signal problem but I doubt it.
