I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue.
I might suggest removing the dongle and any discs from the player, and then hold down the STOP button for about 10 seconds. This should reset the player. From there, power on the player, re-insert the dongle and change your setting to wireless. You should be able to reconnect to your network.
I just bought the Samsung proprietary wireless adapter for my Samsung blu ray 1590 and got my wireless to work great. For two days, I got great streaming movies from Netflix.
A few days ago, I had a pop-up recommending a firmware update. Naturally, I clicked "okay." Ever since I did that firmware update, I can't log onto my wireless. It's recognizing all the wireless connections. I'm almost 100% positive I'm putting in the right security key, given that I got it to work a few days ago.
I'd appreciate any recommendation you can provide. Between not realizing you had to have a proprietary stick, to dishing out $70 for that adapter, and now having a firmware update completely screw with my settings, I can't even begin to express my frustration.
