Firmware for LN-T5265F?

by skorell / March 18, 2009 4:17 PM PDT

Any idea where I can get ahold of firmware updates for my LN-T5265F? I believe they were available on Samsungs website, but are now unavailable. I am having some intermittant HMDI handshake issue and would like to see if a firmware update will help out with this issue.

Current firmware is 1029 board rev. is 1009.

The firmware was pulled from the site. The most current firmware addresses only the RF connection (v. 1032) that fixes a black and white issue with the RF connector.

What are you trying to fix using the firmware?

I am having intermittent HDMI handshake issues with a DirecTV HR21S box. Occasionally when switching between 720P and 1080i I will lose sync and need to power cycle TV to regain picture. I was hoping a firmware upgrade my help with this issue.

Often times, when the picture disappears when a cable box is hooked up, it's because the HDCP (HD Copy Protection) settings are set pretty high.

To regain the picture, in many cases, just restarting the cable box re-establishes that connection, and you get your picture back.

Keep me posted.

I have exactly the same intermittent loss with Dish DVR. Then I recently purchased a WD-Media Player that has a HDMI output. I have done enough troubleshooting with my friends TV, and believe the issue is with LN-T5265F:(

I read instructions somewhere about getting the firmware version.
Mine is

Seems old. I certainly appreciate knowing how to upgrade this and where it is available. I also read somewhere that current version is

There is no U.S. firmware for that model on the website. Are you in a different region other than the U.S.? If so, I may be able to point you to a region-specific update if one is available.

Keep me posted.

I have an LN-T 5365f with an 1008 and 1024 firmware setup. I called today (6-25-09) and had a very smart tech who informed me that I did not need an update, as it was not recommended at this time. It would serve no purpose. He stated it mainly worked with start and stop and delay problems. That is the 1009-1029 upgrade.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
