red,
There's normally a reason that support is stopped for a product. XP is a newer operating system and although XP is supported by Norton Internet Security 2002,which contains the firewall, there are many newer exploits and viruses that are better served by newer detection techniques. That said......
In order to configure the Norton firewall, please use the link below:
How to run the Application Scan in Norton Internet Security 2002 and Norton Personal Firewall 2002
Hope this helps.

I have just signed up for NTLs BroadbandPlus service but i am unable to access most of the content because of my firewall.I use Norton 2002 on XP o/s.If i turn off the firewall i get access to all content but i dont want to turn it off.I rang NTL - they were no help (30 mins on hold to be given Symantec phone number).I rang the number and discovered that norton 2002 is no longer supported for help. How do i configure my firewall to allow me access to the content (videos/downloads etc). The help (if you can call it help)page on the site mentions allowing UDP/Mulicast in the firewall settings.ANyone know how to configure Norton?
