FireFox with Windows 10 preview

Seems kind of screwy but using FF with the new Windows 10 Preview, I can't use Google as my home page nor use Google for anything. I can't install Google Chrome either.

I installed Pale Moon, 32 bit ( which is Mozilla based) and everything works fine as does IE

I reset FF , uninstalled , reinstalled to no avail.

I can use Duck Duck Go, or or anything else just nothing that has anything to do with Google.

I also can't use YouTube with FF but can with Pale Moon and IE.
Just a glitch?

IE, FF, & Chrome all work just fine for me.

I don't know why FF doesn't work for you with Windows 10, it works fine for me with the latest version of FF 33.1.1. Run Defender and let it check for malware. You could also try Malwarebytes. I'm running it in a dedicated partition with multi-boot, not using virtualization.

Good luck.

Did all of that wpg

FF and Chrome was fine before I applied the 9860 update.

It's as though anything Google or YouTube was banned .....
Guess I'll stay with Pale Moon for now

Found the culprit

In reply to: FireFox with Windows 10 preview

It was Avast anti virus .
Not only did it block everything Google or YouTube but other apps like PC Settings, and the Apps Store
