Firefox text size

Sep 15, 2006 5:34PM PDT

On logging onto CNET using Firefox, text size is a bit on the small side. A page refresh brings the size up to a more readable level. I realise there are various ways of adjusting text size within the browser, so this is no big deal. Just thought I'd mention it. Text size is quite a bit larger when logging on with Internet Explorer.

This seems to happen regardless of the version of Firefox being used (e.g 1.5x - Firefox 2.0 beta2/Bon Echo). Perhaps it would be the same with any Gecko based browser.

to post this. It would be better to post this in the browser forum.

But since you're here,

press ctrl and the + sign makes the text larger

press ctrl and the - sign makes the text smaller.

Hope this helps.

Thanks ...but as I said, I know to alter text sizes. It was just a minor point about how the forum in general is behaving (for me) when logging on using Firefox.

I posted here because I felt it could be a forum issue rather than being anything to do with Firefox. The post could be moved if you feel it would be better placed in the browser forum.
