Firefox Question?

Jul 2, 2004 1:43AM PDT

I downloaded Firefox yesterday, but did not set it as default. Used windows install and set it as a standard browser to see if I will like it. Had a smooth download ,no extensions, plugins etc. Seems a little strange being used to IE but have not had any problems and I'M OUT of the line of fire! I think I will like it as I get to know it better, and it seems a little faster with my 56K dialup than IE. Now to make it my default when I get ready, do I need to uninstall it and reinstall it as default or can I just default it somehow? Also can I put my printer(HP 1210 all in one)
Icon on the taskbar or should I just use file/print for now? Also can I download Mozilla 1.7 the same way not as a default and try it to see which I like better? Can I keep Firefox on the pc if I download Mozilla? Seems the Mozilla Forum is down most of the time till they get it fixed from overload so I can't ask questions on it right now.
Thanks.
Larry

Try Tools, Options, General. There's a button here marked Set Default Browser.

Best of luck,

Bob

As far as adding icons to your toolbar..just right click and select "Customize" then you can just drag icons to your toolbars..
I prefer to only have one toolbar..so I dragged all the icons off..unchecked the bookmarks & navigation toolbars then dragged all my icons on one toolbar!
