Firefox Plugin Download Problem?

Dec 3, 2004 10:31PM PST

I have recently started using Firefox (I have the latest version)as my browser, and when visiting a particular site for the first time, i was informed I needed the macromedia flash player plugin to load the page. I hit the icon, checked I agree in the license box, and then hit next - It appears to be d/l but is taking forever. I eventually give up (after 20 minutes or so)and hit the cancel button. Am I being too impatient or is there something wrong.

It appears to be an issue of clogged, overloaded servers. I experienced this one just yesterday. Sadly, I didn't write down what I did exactly, but I did type FIREFOX FLASH INSTALLER into google.com and found a simple .EXE from Macromedia that installed the needed player.

Hope this helps, but if not, pester me again after you've done your google work.

Thanks Bob - I installed it separately too (before I read your reply) and I also can't remember what I did exactly either!! But at least I can load pages properly now Happy
