I find that often clears this up. As to Symantec, you have to deal with them. I no longer go near their products. Long story.
I am running the newest version of Firefox, 53.0.2 32 bit. Whenever I open Firefox, I am told that it is connecting. However, the page never loads. Other browsers work perfectly well. I have already tried reinstalling Firefox to no avail. The only other factor that could have a potential impact is my Symantec (Norton) Small Business Edition anti-virus. Disabling the firewall doesn't help; I'm unsure if I need to disable the anti-virus as a whole. Has anyone else experienced this issue? What should I do?
