I find the homepage for Firefox seems to take a long time to load - does anyone else have this problem and is there a tweak. Or is it me just being impatient?

you are impatient.

What can be better than being a winner all the way around? Wink

Several scripts are run on the page and depending on how your browser is configured and what extensions you may or may not have installed along with processor, internet connection speed and graphics rendering capabilities slight differences are noted from PC to PC.

Also, we can't forget server side things... The server could be loaded down at the moment because a few hundred other people all started their browsers within a few seconds of you, and are hitting that same page, there could simply be a slow link between you and the Firefox homepage, all kinds of fun network issues could come into play.

Mine is a .html file on my own hard disk. I don't notice it's slow.

And if you don't like the current one, you can easily make it another. Even an empty one. That's real fast.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
