Firefox.exe-Application error

When this happens label read:
The instruction at "0x63611b9ed" reference memory at "0x01010101" the memory could not be written
Click Ok to terminate the Program
Click Close to debug the Program.

On the first crash I choose the "Close" option and the PC re-start. On the second crash I choose Ok and the Program closed, no re-start.

What in heaven is this crash and how to solve it?

P4 2.66 GHz,516RAM Kingston DDR400, ECS P4M800-PRO LGA775 Mother Board
W2k SP4, Firefox 1.5.0.4
