Firefox Background Color is Purple - How To change to White?

by guywarder / October 18, 2007 12:45 PM PDT

I've got a laptop with Windows XP that always displays the background color of webpages as purple when I use Firefox, which makes reading sites like eBay.com near impossible. I haven't found a place to change this in the browser's settings or my control panel.

Anybody know where to change the default background color of my Firefox browser to the standard white? Internet Explorer has the normal background color. Thanks! Please let me know if I should clarify anything.
