firefox and yahoo mail

I have firefox 1.5 and i am having problems with yahoo! mail's compose part. I was able to do copy paste in the older version of firefox with yahoo compose.

So i try to copy-paste in yahoo! compose, but am unable to do so. I try doing CTRL+V.... does not help either.

Hence i had to download netscape and in netscape8, i could do copy paste in yahoo compose.

Is this a browser problem or some setting i need to turn on in yahoo mail or firefox 1.5??

I don't have this problem with my Firefox (v1.0.7 on a Mac), but maybe you should try downloading a new copy of Firefox and see if it works then. I don't know of any settings that would solve this problem. Yahoo! is probably who you want to contact.

only when i downloaded firefox 1.5...this problem began, the earlier version of ff 1.07 didnt have this problem.

I'm running Fx 1.5 on Yahoo DSL with no similar ill effects. Have you tried having Fox check for updates?
