Firefox and Google

by wanness / January 5, 2005 1:52 AM PST

I just installed Firefox again, everything works fine, but, I am unable to keep or install the google toolbar when I am using Firefox. If I switch to IE, it pops right up. Any advice? Thanks, Bil

Google toobar in Firefox?

Firefox does not support the toolbar option just yet. Although Google has a special homepage just for Firefox. Personally, I have never been a fan of toolbars. Netscape has been supporting its own toolbar. I think the toolbar is a special feature for IE.

The current Google Toolbar is only designed for IE. If you do a search of the on the Mozilla website for Firefox Google Toolbar, I know that there is a unofficial toolbar somewhere that does all the basic features that the real Google tool bar does in IE. I hope this answers your question Happy

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
