Question

Firefox. Addon to remember specific site cookies?

Feb 8, 2015 7:25PM PST

Certain forum uses some sort of a modification which allows collapsing certain categories but it doesn't permanently remember which categories I have collapsed. I was told to look for an addon which will create a cookie to remember permanently which categories have been collapsed. I don't know what I should type in the site with firefox addons or in Google, so I'd appreciate if you can tell me what to look for or even better - post links to such addons.

Why not ask the person who told you such things exist to show you how he did it? After all, it's not yet April 1.

I am not entirely sure what you mean by Cookie categories and "Collapsing", but I would suggest your first step is to visit Firefox Mozilla's own Add-ons web pages, starting at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

Trust only add-ons approved by Mozilla.

Use that page's search option to search for possible suitable add-ons. For example I searched for "Cookie control" and search listed possibilities.

Having just read Kees' reply, I tend to agree that the person who told is also a good place to start.
