Question

Firefox addon preventing adding addons without permission

Feb 1, 2019 1:05PM PST

I often sit at school with my laptop. If I walk away I normally lock the laptop, but when I forget to do so, a couple of people love to "prank" me with changing the image of my desktop, installing add-ons like the random John Cena thing, etc It was fun for the first time, maybe the second but it has gotten to the point that it's just annoying having to delete all the crap they might put on my laptop.

Is there an extension that prevents the adding extensions, edit bookmarks, etc. without entering a password or something? I already have Public Fox installed, but this just prevents people from getting into my add-ons page instead of also preventing people from adding additional crap to Firefox.

Times in between are too short

These things happen at the moment I leave my pc for a minute or so. If I leave the area I lock my pc, but if I want to help somebody out at the other end of the classroom, thus leave my pc for a minute or so, they try to prank me. It often happens with addons since they don't have the time to do anything more. I have protected my laptop against most "threats" but I am still looking for something that prevents people from installing add-ons, may my laptop be unlocked when I am gone.

Too simple to remove and do other damage. Get the PC to lock first.
