I have just started to use FireFox on my computer that is running on Vista. Is there a way to save a web page to the desk top?

Choose file>save as (save as from the red firefox button) and browse to your desktop folder. That's the same as saving any file to your desktop in any program.

It put the web page on the desktop but it showed a folder that didn't have anything in it. When I open the icon everything was in script but didn't show the web page. What going wrong?

Superfish

I started to use screen shot to save web pages to my desk top. While on Amazon, I enabled Superfish. Is that the malware that allows hackers to intercept encrypted messages from our computer? Isn't Superfish what the department of defense listed as malware. How do I remove it - if it is? Do I have to remove it from the registry?

you can save a webpage but depending on the scripts in the page, who knows what it will look like. It may not have all the elements of the page included. the best thing to do is to do a screen shot - depending what you what the page for.
