Firefox

I just started to use Firefox. While I download any program(only one download at a time)I can't acces any site until the download is completed.Is this normal with Firefox or is a setting I should do ? I use win xp home SP1.

No it is not normal.

What type of internet connection do you have? if dial-up it may be that the download is taking all your bandwidth.

What happens when you try to access any web site? What error messages do you get?

As I said I'm new with Firefox so I didn't configure anything. The download started and let it go until the end.Any sugestions?

what Internet connection type you have? ie dial-up or broadband?

I have DSL connection and I download an update for Symantec. Second time I download an update for SpywareBlaster.

look in FF help and look in "search" download manager for a clear understanding of it==

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
