Running 3.5.1 On All Machines Here...
Jul 22, 2009 12:18AM PDT

Obviously, it's always your choice where to proceed... But, the 3.5.1 version includes a number of security updates and should be used instead of the previous versions. Just for added fun, there is pending update on 3.5.1 for a newly found vulnerability and it should be released soon.

Hope this helps.

I found...
Jul 22, 2009 5:48AM PDT

The new firefox has provided me with a new annoyance. maybe its fixable, but here goes. I find no major difference, though as Grif says, security has been improved. The annoyance is that the click of a website link, no longer provides a response as when the "hour glass" response as in it doing something. the new version seems to show no action after clicking though it does go through. I thought it strange, maybe there's a setting to bring it back. So far it has been good.

Mark, in my version of the taskbar, I have a "blinking" action and "loading" then webpage name appears. It still an annoyance, IMHO. -----Willy Happy

You Might Want To Try Firefox 3.0.12
Jul 26, 2009 1:09PM PDT

It's the most recent updated version of FF 3.0 and was released a few days ago. It might be more stable for you and should be maintained by Mozilla till January 2010. Here's the download location:

Hope this helps.
