Has anyone used Firefox's password manager. Is it safe, does it work properly. I use roboform, but having one less program on my computer wouldn't be hurt.

It's reasonably good...

Any passwords that are saved are encrypted automatically, greatly reducing the chances of someone retrieving them, and it works as it should on all websites I've tried it on except for those which include code to prevent the usage of password storage for security reasons. In that case you can circumvent the website's block by using form bookmarklet.

Hope this helps,
John

Firefox password manager

I am using the Firefox password mgr. and I LOVE IT! I don't have to type in all those darn email addresses and passwords on most of my frequently visited sites. I have a sheet of paper with umpteen sites with email addresses and passwords that I have just about quit using since I have installed the FF mgr. I think you will be very pleased with it. Betsy
