Firefox 2 RC 1 Released

just a short time ago Mozilla released Firefox 2 RC 1, anybody can download this browser here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho/all-rc.html.

It looks solid but I wish they removed the coloured background from the tabs section, it is just not needed. And the buttons have translucency including the tabs, and when you hover over the tabs or the buttons they light up.

It has compatibility issues with my extensions (themes) that I installed with my Firefox 1.5, it didn't accept them and said that "these extensions have known compatibility issues" which is pretty lame when you think about it because it is in RC stage, so it should be more stable. So that's a little warning anyone testing this browser.

I give this release a 5.5 out of 10.
