FIREFOX 2.0 DISPLAYING BLANK PAGES

Any ideas regarding why Firefox browser suddenly does not open any tabs? Each attempt displays a blank page and the tab says:"untitled." When I click on a hyperlink in my Microsoft Outlook email, again a blank page. YET when I change back to IE v.7, my hyperlinks work with page & images showing up just fine.

Yes, I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox 2 but it did not correct the problem. I've been using Firefox 2 since its release with no problems at all.

I'm using Windows XP v.2002; HP Pavilion AMD 64 bit processor.
