Firefox 1.5 and my yahoo

Feb 28, 2006 2:51AM PST

Anyone else seen this error? When attempting to log into My yahoo through Firefox 1.5 you can't get past the "user sign in". I suspect that it may be cookie related but have deleted all cookies and it still occurs.

Are you sure you didn't block cookies from Yahoo that's the problem?

Likely fix...

It sounds like Firefox is set to block the cookies related to the Yahoo login. It may have happened accidentially along the way, or the option "unless I have removed cookies set by the site" was checked and you deleted the cookies. For instructions on how to deal with this, click here for a previous thread on the topic.

Hope this helps,
John

If using NoScript
Feb 28, 2006 6:40PM PST

If using NoScript

left click on the blue s at the bottom of the page

allow yimg.com

allow yahoo.com

Also click on tools

click on options

click on privacy

click on cookies

check mark allow sites to set cookies.

close Mozilla Firefox. Wait 10 seconds and try it again. It should work.

Hope this helps.
