Firebird...er Firefox

Feb 9, 2004 6:46AM PST

(Yeah I know this is an XP Froum, but...)

Has anyone upgraded to FireFox 0.8?

If so, can you walk me through the set up. I have a lot of extensions and other customizationa that I do not want to lose.

Please make this real simple and explicit, thanks!

To be honest, all I did was install it and run it and it just worked. I'd been using nightly builds for quite some time during the development phase which MIGHT have had something to do with it, but all my extensions work fine. Well, very minor glitch with AdBlock that just required a single rule to be redone, and that honestly could have been due to something else that had nothing to do with Firefox.

However, here's a real shocker for ya, I'll bet that there's a document detailing any upgrade procedures you need to follow on the... wait for it... wait for it... wait for it... Mozilla Firefox website!

Of course if things do go wrong, it might be an excellent time to re-evaluate the need for all those extensions.
