I have had "Zone Alarm" fire wall. Just got the Windows fire wall. Should I let both run? If not, which should I disable or delete??? JIM

Hockey,

Only run one, not both. It's your choice on which one. There's no need to delete, only disable. It's a good idea to do some research about firewalls and understand they aren't a cure to all evils. They're just another tool in the arsenal and it's a good idea to learn about the good and bad aspects of each type you're wanting to use.

Windows XP firewall only blocks "incoming" intrusion attempts. ZA will block both "incoming" attempts and "outgoing" attempts made by spyware and trojans. Try them both and see which one works better for you.

Hope this helps.
