Depends on what you need

Whether or not this is possible depends on what you need. If you just want some program where you can enter in this data yourself, that's no problem. Any simple database program should be able to do that.

If you want something that probes the hardware and collects this information automatically, then you may have some problems. It assumes that the device will have some mechanism for sending it's serial number, and not all of them do.

Serial numbers from keyboard,mouse,monitor,cpu

The PC design didn't include adding circuitry and drivers to report such. If your IT mandated such they would be buying managed PCs which have such features but then you would not be asking?

Not an easy answer

As far as I know, I haven't seen this for PCs in general. I suggest you look into websites that offer files/pgms. that may do that. But, I'm sure devices, like kybds, mice and such just wouldn't be possible. Look at these websites and others:

Heck, I doubt I ever saw this on brand new systems from the likes of IBM, Compaq, etc., when they had a shipping list when I installed new at users sites. Just my 2-cents

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
