1. The center of the road method is to call Microsoft since you bought, paid for and registered your Office 2000. They get you a new number.
2. The off center method. Run BELARC ADVISOR from google.com, print the results for backup. The COA number is likely in that printout unless you wiped the drive.

I have Office 2000, had to do a reinstall of my OS. Now I need to reinstall Office. Problem is I have my discs, I was in the hospital for 2 months,someone moved the COA. I do have the OEM numbers from my old computer, what I do not have is the COA code to put in when they want it. Any suggestions as to where to find this code? I am adequate when it comes to computers, a long way from technically inclined so I need the answers in very simple terms. Thanks for any help.
