I've never had to repair the registry to fix a non-booting Vista. But I have had to repair Vista from users running registry repair and cleaners!
I recently had trouble starting Windows Vista, it kept going to the page that gave me the usual options such as regular start up, start up in safe mode, etc. After about the fourth try, it gave me an option to repair the Windows registry. I do not remember what else was on the page. Can anyone tell me how to get to this option in a planned sequence not just accidentally? By the way, this option corrected my problem and I think it would correct a lot of problems for a lot of people.
