Find Highlighting in MS Word

Aug 12, 2004 4:55PM PDT

Hi,
Is there anyway to search for (Find) all instances of highlighting in an MS Word XP document?

If the program itself won't do it, is there a workaround, by any chance? Thanks.

To search for highlighting, open the Find tool.
On the Find tab,
enter in whatever parameters you are looking for
select the [Format] button,
select "Highlight"
then just click on the [Find Next] button.

This is available in Word 2002.
I am not aware what "MS Word XP" is.

But you may find similar controls in your version of Word, as well.

Chuck, thanks a thousand times. I swear I (thought I?) looked for that highlight check box in the Find format menu, but I never saw it. I'd buy you a double if the Fedex charges weren't so stiff (grin). Thank you.
