I have hundreds of file names using, "/". I know how to change an individual file name. Doing all the files would take forever as there are sometimes three or more backslashs to a name. The files belonged to my late son and I only need to open the file, save or delete then move on.

In Word I can use the find command and then change characters.

I am trying to find out if I can do this when I open a Folder in the finder?

I would like to find all the, "/", then change them to dashs, " - ".

There is no "Find and Replace" in Finder,

and the one in Word itself will not help you.
