Final Year Project

Hello, Im a student and I need to make a final year project. It is suposed to solve a problem, or simply a need, nothing random. Any ideas?
I prefer programming and arduino/software.

Sometimes I find the student is trying to avoid those that help with the project selection.

As to the project with some millions doing such projects today, these are rarely unique.

The prof told us what is most common to do and what was made in another years, also told us that something about helping nature or some causes are strong projects. All this with technology, informatics etc
