I must say I am impressed with the Elura 80. I got it for a good price at Walmart. I needed a camera I can take everywhere. I want to get a ton of footage of my little boy. I think it's worth checking out.
Only downside is that in low light its so-so quality. In brighter areas it awesome!
Your best off looking at all the reviews here on cnet and deciding from there, however I love the elura 80
The time is here where I have to make a decision on which camera to purchase and I am still not entirely sure. I was going to purchase the elura 65 but the price went up today, which was a surprise to me. Now the elura 70 is only $30 more. Is this a better deal for only $30 more or should I save the money and go with the 65. I also have been looking at the elura 80 since its similiar in price but it seems to me that the 65 and 70 have better features. Am I correct? The new runner lately has been the ZR 300. I know the ZR series is supposed to be below the elura series but it seems that this camcorder is getting good reviews and is much improved over last years ZR series. Any advice would be appreciated for this newbie. I would like to say around $400 in price. I will consider other camcorders if they are comparable. I want it for vacations and special events. It does not have to be anything fancy but I do want something more than the bottom of the barrel. I would like to purchase something by this or next week. Thank you all.
