All looks good to me. If your having suspicions about compatibility, try this:
I'm making my final decision on a new motherboard, processor and ram. I was hoping you guys could verify that it's all compatible and a good choice.
ASUS P7P55D EVO LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i7-860 Lynnfield 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80605I7860
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
And I know it doesn't belong in this forum, but since I'm switching to 64bit I am trying to choose between WinXP and Win7. I don't want to risk a bad download so I'll actually purchase it(some people seem to think that's crazy nowadays). I understand that there tend to be compatibility issues with 64bit and I'm afraid that would be worse with Win7. Is it worth switching to? I plan on getting a new video card eventually too, if that is something to consider.
