Filmora Wondershare video editing

by lilliana / July 16, 2016 9:09 AM PDT

1. After I've edited several video clips into a single film, do I need to save it as a project, or just export it? If project, why--what benefit is it?
2. After saving several clips into a single movie and exporting it, how can I clear the edit screen without having to clear each clip individually?

Time to get Wondowshare support.
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / July 16, 2016 9:23 AM PDT

I see on the web, tutorials and their own forum but here I don't use their app due to the spam posts about their software.

Since you can save the project that sounds like a good idea since you can call it back later.

As to clearing the edit screen, is there a "New Project" under any menu?

Time to get Wondershare support
by lilliana / July 16, 2016 9:31 AM PDT

Unfortunately Wondershare support is very poor. I haven't found a way to ask a question except for the canned questions that they'll respond to. They have some video tutorials, but I didn't find one that answered the questions I posted. Same for the many tutorials on the web. I haven't found their own forum (which will answer questions like I posted here); if you know of an actual forum that Wondershare has (other than just their canned video tutorials), I'd be most grateful if you could provide it. Thanks for your ideas; I will try them, and will post other questions in the future in hopes that someone like yourself might offer some more good suggestions.

Remember they spammed so
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / July 17, 2016 11:45 AM PDT

As a moderator their spams meant I rarely go near their app so I can only offer ideas from memory. Almost all apps have a New (projecti, file) under the File menu. I can't imagine their software is so bad it doesn't have a new project feature.

It will let me save a project, but when I try to open it back up for further editing, it won'd open. Trying to delete a movie strip by saving it as a project doesn't delete it from the editing screen, and they don't have a "new project." To save a project, click an icon or CTRL S. Did you say you knew of a Wondershare Filmora dedicated forum?

Video Editor Audio Transitions
by yotebooter / March 9, 2017 7:27 AM PST

I have Wondershare Video editor 4.8.1 for Mac. Is there a way to create smooth audio/video transitions from one video clid to another? The audio is the biggest issue.

They used to spam a lot. Back to them for support.
