Filmon Live TV on Samsung TV

by EKSP1 / January 31, 2016 4:20 AM PST

Hi, recently bought the 48" JS8500 and I can't play Filon Live TV as it doesn't play Flash Player.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Adobe, who authors the Flash Player has been ending Flash for years. They no longer update it for TVs so you can't be sure about Flash on TVs or about anything today.

It's a common question but little or nothing to do with Samsung or the Filmon folk. If it plays on say a PC, try a HDMI cable to the TV.

Re: Browser Limitations

I apologize for the inconvenience. Due to the limited buffer memory you may not be able to stream video or audio from websites through the browser. The most common indication is to start media content and it will play for about 10 - 15 minutes and then the web browser will close unexpectedly. Many sites that offer streaming offer an app in the Samsung app store that is optimized for streaming to a TV, if no app is available we can only recommend viewing the site from a computer, and connecting that to the television via HDMI.
