I can't say the Canon 8800F scanner is designed to be more of a negative and slide scanner than a print scanner but I've read some reviews on that model and it sounds like a lot of people are getting some very good results with it. Take a look at the feedback on this unit at amazon. I'm considering the 8800F myself for print/negative/slide use. If you get one how about posting your results and evaluation?
