Since this is so beat up out there and folk tend to be upset I'll keep it short. Try simple encoding of the files. Try one of the standard settings of say HANDBRAKE to re-encode and then re-test the broken file.
Such playback is almost non-assured. I find the WD Live TV box to work while the Smart TVs continue to fail.

Hi all, I have a Samsung UA55F7100AMXXY Smart TV, and have recently started streaming video files from my Windows 7 PC using either Windows Media Player (current version) or XBMC/Kodi. With both methods, when playing HD video files, they will stop playing, and then the next file will commence. This usually happens after anywhere between 10-30 minutes of playing, then seems to happen more frequently after that. The same also happens when streaming to my Samsung BluRay player which is NOT wi-fi.
Any fix for this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Andrew.
