Files and Settings Transfer Wizard

Has anybody ever used this wizard ?

The documentation clearly suggests that data is MOVED or TRANSFERRED, which would surely leave the original computer partly trashed. Does that happen or is the relevant data only COPIED (to the other computer or to a disk / disgo), leaving the original computer untouched ?

Many thanks for the information. The 18-page article by Gary Woodruff is a work or art !

Glad to point that one out.

If you liked that one, be sure to look at the others at http://www.aumha.org/articles.htm and look to the left for more XP specific items like CD recording and more.

Don't ask why Microsoft can't communicate as clearly...
