I want to share files with other computers on my home network, and was wondering what the benefits would be by getting something like the Hp Home Server vs just adding a NAS adapter to my 1TB external drive and connecting it to my router. The bulk of the files would be mp3's. pictures and standard def. video. I heard that the HP Server can back up the computers on my network automatically, is that essentially the only thing I'd be missing out on? Or are the streaming capabilities of audio and video better aswell?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
