The simplest setup to share a broadband connection is with any consumer oriented wireless router, connecting one PC via ethernet cable and the others wirelessly.
I need to connect my two computers in order to share files. I tried the wireless networking but my second computer has Windows Millenium Edition on it and my adapter wasn't compatible with that. Are there any adapters out there that are by the way? So, I figure I'll go wired networking and bought a second cable modem. Now I'm confused because how do I get access to the files on my second computer? What's the best way to go in order to share files along with an internet connection? I currently have high-speed internet through my cable modem. Help please!
Thank you!
