File reading not working in samsung mobiles only

Hi friends,
I have a sample application to read the file.This application working fine in all the mobiles.But not in samsung mobile.
I can read int , byte types but not long ,short,string and all....
Not very sure Where i am mistaking.But the same code working fine in all the other mobiles.(Nokia,Sony ericsson, motorola,lg).

Please give me any example code to read files with all the type of values(byte,int,long,short,string).

I have tested in A767,A747,A737,A827,A837
