File list is showing Z to A, instead of A to Z...

by bently / February 24, 2006 1:24 AM PST

When I click on FILE and a window pops up to show list of folders available, the list shows BACKWARDS, from Z to A.

What can I do to change the list to show from A to Z?

Thanks Bob and John,

Z to A, was happening on ANY folder I clicked, that had several files to choose from.

I think what happened was... I had the right column of Explorer.exe in Z to A, and not thinking about THAT.... I clicked Tools/Folder Options/View/Apply To All Folders, to save another change I had made.

I just now changed the Right Column of Explorer.exe to sort A to Z, clicked Tools/Folder Options/View/Apply To All Folders, and now it appears that everything is OK.

Thanks again,
