File Header Missing

On School, i had to Draw something in Autocad, then i sent it to my teacher so he could make a CNC program out of it, i saved it in .dxf but when he tries to open it, he gets an error saying "File header missing"
Any ideas how i can fix this?

Re: missing

Can you still open it from your mail on the PC where you made it? If not, it's back to latest backup that still works or start over.

Re: can open

If you can open that file in Autocad and he can't open it in his CNC-program, send it again and tell that it opens in Autocad. Then he can try in his version of Autocad, and then in the CNC-program.
