few questions about vista and a prosser

ok so i could not afford mutch for a somputer so i baught a refirbished hp laptop for around 450 it has windows vista on it wich is fine i guess but i am also wondering hopw old the AMD Sempron? processers are

No, It is not entirely compatible with XP.

It has SATA hard disks but here's the killer item. The SATA DVDRW. I will NOT enter into the thousandth discussion about why this matters.

I'm seeing too many buy machines then discover just how hard it is to install Windows XP. In fact some don't know they need XP SP2 CDs!
