Few questions about the JetAudio iAudio U2

Jan 13, 2005 8:35AM PST

I'm completely new to MP3 players and I'm looking to buy a flash player with about 1GB of memory for running, bike riding, and some use around campus at school, would the iAudio U2 be a good choice? Mostly I would be copying CD's and music I already have to it.
Also,is the armband (or armbands for other MP3 players in general) uncomfortable for running and other physical activity? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.

I've had one for about 2 weeks and have been very impressed. Sound quality is excellent and it's very small and light (I think it's the smallest/lightest available with a display, I could be wrong). A penalty for the size is that USB adaptor isn't built in, you need a cord or adaptor (both are included). The ear phones took a little getting used to; I'm still shopping for a second pair and maybe an upgrade.

I considered the arm band but haven't bought it; I've been running with it in my hand and had no problems. And I feel like it's easier to change the volume/track/radio station with it in my hand than on my arm.
