my first suggestion would be to pick something else. I
started on Red Hat, went on to Fedora Core. Loved it. Till I used Fedora Core 2. No good, very buggy. Every new version I used after that (3, 4) was progressively worse.
Finally gave up and tried most other distros till I found one that suited me (Mandriva/Mandrake). But if you can get it to work correctly, more power to you. chuck
I just posted a how-to guide on my Fedora Core blog. I thought you all might be interested in taking a look at it. I needed a reference guide so when I'm installing Linux onto my family members computers I will remember everything I done. I tried to write it so that anyone could follow it.
