Faxing Photosuite fomatted images

Oct 6, 2005 10:45PM PDT

I was given a document which was created in Photosuite a "written document/with an embedded picture" that I copied(scanned) to the "My Documents" folder. The results were that it came out in a "jpeg" format (Rather than "TXT")? . This seemed to create havoc when I tried to fax this through "WINFAX or Pro- Communicate software". I then tried savng it to ms/word as a ".DOC" file and then faxing it. That still didn't work sucessfully. I then tried to scan it into ms notepad. It changed the format to "TXT" and then to msword. However, when I went to refax it again the error that I recieved was "not enough memory to translate txt file? I was then asked to exit out of the activity. Is there any Faxing software that can handle "Jpeg" or other related formats or perform conversion to text automatically prior to faxing ? I am assuming that the document was determined to be JPEG because either it was created in photosuite or because of the embedded "NON text Picture" within the document. I cannot change the way the document is constructed in any way. any help on this matter would be greatly apreciated. Thanks Don Rago
