I am running Windows XP SP2 Home Edition with IE 6.0. For no reason I can figure out the shortcuts on the Favorites menu suddenly will not display. When passing over "Favorites" the "Add Favorites" and "Organize Favorites" indicators show and when passing over these they darken as they should but neither will work when clicking on either of them. Clicking on the Favorites "Star" will open the window on the side of the screen but it is blank and shows an "x". I have checked Explorer and the shortcuts and folders are in the My Documents\Incomplete folder. I have tried the "Favorites" under the "View/Explorer" menu and get the same results. Why can't I get the shortcuts to show and why won't the "Add Favorites" and "Organize Favorites" buttons work? Have check for virues, run spybot, run Adaware, and even the Microsoft Antispyware. Help!!
