Genre

It depends very much on the genre. But if we talk about this contemporary music I'd probably say ''Imagine'' by John Lennon. But when saying that, I automatically say that everything else is less good. It's very hard! ''In the Ghetto'' by Scott Davis is another one that I love. I kind of have my daily favorites. One day I love one song and another day another one. An all time favorite is hard to give.

''Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue'' (AKA ''Angry American'') by Toby Keith. Click here for the lyrics and to listen to (not download) a mid-quality recording of it.

Dedicated to those who died in the September 11th terrorist attacks, and the American Military Personnel killed in Iraq. You will not be forgotten, and your deaths will be avenged.

I could make a list from several genres....anything but operatic pieces, rap, ska, etc. Playing as I browse now is one of my favorites by Dougie MacLean called "Solid Ground". He's not well known in pop but more folky. Another on my current playlist is "Scotch and Soda" by Dave Guard (of and sung by the Kingston Trio). Here's hoping this is a lonngggg thread.:)

I'd say Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. Runner up Windy by the Association, but that's probably due to repetition as when I was a disk jocky (circa 1968) that was the song that ended every show at 11 P.M. (Scott, the other guy really liked that one and chose it.)
BTW, Kitty likes Second line, the Dixieland instrumental common to almost all New Orleans jazz funerals during the march in the streets phase because she likes to "dance" to it in the wheelchair when I play it.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
